We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Skeng closes this distance looking for a takedown but Steel circles away. Skeng misses with a takedown and Steel counters with a straight right hand. Hot Steel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reece Skeng. Skeng with a lazy takedown attempt #KD# and Steel counters with a crisp one two that drops Skeng! Steel thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Skeng to his feet! Skeng is in big trouble!#ROC# Skeng is rocked! Skeng with a poor takedown and Steel counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Skeng thinking. Skeng is still on wobbly legs! Can Steel finish him? Skeng looks winded! Steel fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Skeng has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Steel throws a pinpoint strike between Skeng's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Skeng crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Steel scores a great knockout victory!

Kozlovsky must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kozlovsky's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Kozlovsky distracts Adams with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Kozlovsky throwing strikes but missing. Kozlovsky connects with a couple of short punches. Kozlovsky pushing down on Adams's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #TD2# Adams gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Wiley is wriggling around but Adams manages to pass to half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#REVR# Wiley wants to control the action here but instead Adams manages to pass to full mount! Wiley really wants to buck Adams off and get back to his feet. #SUB2# Adams with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

I really don't envy Wiley right now.

He's half way up but Adams drags him back down with a jolt, managing to get his forearm deep under Wiley 's chin! Wiley is in real trouble! His face is turning bright red and he's forced to tap! #CUT# It looks like Fabio Vitor Freitas has been cut. Freitas throws a series of punches but Shaw moves out of range. Shaw tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Freitas manages to circle out of the way. Freitas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Shaw swivels and escapes. Fabio Vitor Freitas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shaw connects with a leg kick. Freitas looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Freitas throws a head kick but Shaw moves out of range.
#CL# Shaw darts in and clinches Freitas up against the cage.#TD# Shaw ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Shaw no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Freitas won't allow Shaw to sweep him here. Freitas sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Shaw's guard. Freitas landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Freitas trying to control the pace. #T1# Freitas is thwarting Shaw's attempts to control the position.#SU2# Freitas stands up and beckons Shaw to join him on the feet. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Shaw.
#T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Freitas doesn't succeed with the takedown and Shaw cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.#CL# Shaw gets in close and instigates a clinch. Shaw tries a knee to the head but Freitas blocks it.

#BC2# Freitas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Freitas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shaw sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Freitas somewhat. Matty Shaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fabio Vitor Freitas. Jab, jab by Shaw - just one landing. Shaw really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Shaw lands a jab-cross combination. #T3# Freitas misses with a jab, cross combination.

Freitas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shaw paws at him with a jab and circles away. Freitas fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shaw avoids it really well and circles away. Good exchange - Shaw coming out on top. Shaw throws a series of punches but Freitas moves out of range. Shaw is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Shaw lands a head kick. Freitas smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Freitas fails with the takedown and Shaw counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.#ROC# Freitas is rocked!#T4# Shaw throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Freitas's waist but Freitas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shaw off to one side. Freitas is still on wobbly legs! Can Shaw finish him? Shaw looks for a takedown but Freitas sprawls well. Freitas shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Shaw counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Shaw steps in with a hook that catches Freitas right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Shaw follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Freitas looks absolutely devastated.
