Wasak throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bird drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Wasak defends it well. Wasak wants to land a leg kick but Bird is out of range. Wasak lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bird circles away quickly and effectively. Bird goes for a double leg but Wasak avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wasak continues to drive forward. Bird changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wasak tries to avoid it but Bird manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wasak to the ground. Wasak escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Wasak misses with a wild combination.

Frank Noel is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Noel. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
