#R1# Allen tries to clinch but fails miserably and Mcgee counters with a straight right hand.#CL2# Mcgee rushes Allen and presses him up against the cage.#TD2# Mcgee has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Allen uses from the top position. Allen throwing strikes from guard but Mcgee blocks nicely. Mcgee throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Mcgee controlling Allen's posture. Allen wants to get up but he can't break Mcgee's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Allen is fighting to break Mcgee's control of his arms but Mcgee is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Allen prevents Mcgee from getting back to his feet. Allen trying to control but Mcgee is working from the bottom. #T1##SUB2# Mcgee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Allen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Allen trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcgee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mcgee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Allen's guard. #REVB# Allen wants to sweep but no luck. Mcgee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Allen swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mcgee working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. #SUB# Allen working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Mcgee has passed into half guard!

Allen is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mcgee scores with a couple of nice shots.#SUB2# Mcgee is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Allen sees it coming and defends easily. Allen wants to get back to his feet. Mcgee blocks the strikes from Allen.

Allen is trying to maintain the position but Mcgee is very close to passing his half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mcgee is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Allen is looking to get to half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

#R1# Burns shoots for a takedown but Crane saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Crane appears to be looking for a big counter. Crane attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Crane throws a leg kick and Burns counters with a two punch combo. Crane throws a head kick that misses. A good leg kick by Crane. #CL2# Burns gets a clinch. #BC2# Burns pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.#CL2# Burns clinches up with Crane and pushes him back against the cage. Burns has Crane pressed against the cage, preventing Crane from circling away and getting back to striking at range.#BC2# Burns breaks from the clinch.
Burns tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Crane swivels and escapes. We've been told by Crane's head coaches at Deathsquad that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Burns pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Crane tries to counter with a takedown but Burns is quick to defend against it. Burns stuffs the takedown. A head kick from Crane lands but Burns takes it in his stride. #CUT#It looks like Alex Burns has been cut.#T1# Burns shoots for a double leg takedown but Crane sprawls well. He's pushed Burns's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Frederick Crane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Burns. Burns takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Crane misses with a two punch combination.
Crane goes for a double leg but Burns avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Burns continues to drive forward. Burns tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Burns lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Crane keeping full guard, as Burns tries to pass. #T3# Burns forces his way into half guard. Burns trying to pass the guard but Crane defending well. Crane is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crane looks like he's trying to stand up.
Burns is pressing down on Crane's thigh, looking to free his foot. Crane is holding on for now. Crane tries to get to full guard but Burns has control of the leg. #T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Burns seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Crane does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Burns throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Burns thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Crane tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Burns manages to move to mount!
Burns misses with a head shot. Burns lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Crane tries to reverse the position but Burns maintains control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Let's get back to the scrappin!#R2# Crane is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A little jabbing left from Burns on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Crane throws a combination that misses and Burns counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Crane takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Crane tries to score a power double leg takedown but Burns sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Crane somewhat. Burns is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Crane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Crane avoids a punch combination nicely.
Crane goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Frederick Crane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Burns uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crane.

Horrible takedown attempt by Burns or perhaps it was just good defense by Crane, which made it look bad. Burns is breathing heavily. Crane avoids the head kick by Burns.
Burns tries to land a front kick but Crane steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Crane goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Crane fails to land the takedown. Burns pivots, looking for a leg kick but Crane is out of range and Burns settles back down. Burns throws a body punch but Crane moves out of range. And that is the end of the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Burns holds on and takes a little breather. Burns is looking to stand back up but Crane counters by passing into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Burns keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. #T1# Crane throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. We'll restart on the feet.#T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Crane tries for a takedown but Burns sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Crane dips to his left and cracks Burns with an uppercut! Crane misses with a double jab.
Crane throws a push kick but Burns slaps the foot to one side. Burns shoots in looking for a takedown. Crane tries to sprawl out of it but Burns keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Crane manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Crane is trying hard to land a takedown here. Burns sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Burns ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Crane moves away.#CL2# Burns moves into the clinch. Crane is trying to break free.#BC2# Burns pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.#T3# Crane misses with the combination.

Mcgee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mcgee is trying to keep Lenkov in close.
Lenkov works a leg free and moves into half guard. Lenkov passes to full mount! Mcgee stops Lenkov from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. #SUB2# Lenkov is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Lenkov extends the arm and Mcgee is forced to tap!

A swing and a miss from Griggs.#CL# Griggs tries to keep at a distance but Crane has taken the fight into the clinch.#BC# Crane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Griggs throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Crane stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Griggs's jab looks to have found its range, popping Crane under the eye. Griggs throws a jab when Crane was well out of range. Griggs lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

#R1##CL# Paysley gets tackled into the cage by Joe. Joe maintains the clinch. Paysley changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Joe fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Paysley moves to clinch but Joe breaks away and Joe counters with a lovely shot to the body. Paysley shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Joe counter with a right hand. #CUT#It looks like Wilt Paysley has been cut. Joe stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Paysley gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Paysley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Cottoneye Joe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wilt Paysley. Paysley misses with a takedown attempt and Joe counters with a right hand to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joe lands a head kick!

#R1# Mehoff fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Dukes looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Dukes getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Dukes leaves Mehoff with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.#KD# Dukes sends Mehoff crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Dukes is motioning to the referee to let Mehoff up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#ROC#Mehoff is rocked!#CUT#It looks like Jack Mehoff has been cut. Mehoff get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Mehoff stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Dukes runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pulkkinen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Pulkkinen looking for a sweep. Not yet Pulkkinen, not yet. Paysley wants to pass the guard but Pulkkinen is keeping the position. Paysley stands and throws Pulkkinen's legs to the side, diving into side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Paysley tries for a kimura but Pulkkinen is defending well. #T1# Pulkkinen is trying to get back to half guard. You can see the frustration on Pulkkinen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Pulkkinen is not content to let Paysley control the position. Pulkkinen is trying to improve his position.#T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Paysley trying to control the position but Pulkkinen is working away. Paysley fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Crane shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rzayev as he jumps to the side. Crane works Rzayev's body with a nice hook. Rzayev fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Rzayev just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromCrane. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crane wants to get back to his feet.

Rzayev looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Crane with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Rzayev working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Crane trying to control here.

#TD# Mcgee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Devil looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.#SU# Mcgee decides to take the fight back to the feet. Mcgee throws a series of strikes that have Devil backpedaling.
#TD# Mcgee gets the takedown into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Devil is trying to get back to half guard. Devil told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Mcgee works to advance to full mount. Devil defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Devil really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

The fighters circling - Uzun throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Uzun catches Maverick with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Uzun misses with a shot to the body and Maverick counters with a nice kick to the body. A head kick misses from Maverick. Uzun swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Maverick only half commits to the counter leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Maverick on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
