Helwani shoots in looking for a takedown. Iskandiar tries to sprawl out of it but Helwani keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Iskandiar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Iskandiar scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. #ROC2#Helwani is rocked!
And that's the end of the fight! Jonnie Iskandiar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Iskandiar has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision. Judge Josh West scores the fight 27:29 Judge Roger Salmon scores the fight 27:29 Judge Micheangelo Fripello scores the fight 27:29
In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Jonnie Iskandiar! After winning the bout, Jonnie Iskandiar thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. |
