Cormier with a lazy takedown attempt and Jones counters with a body kick that stops Cormier in his tracks momentarily. Cormier misses with a leg kick #TD2# and Jones counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jones. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Cormier is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones prevents Cormier from getting back to his feet. Cormier can't keep his opponent in guard - Jones advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Cormier wants to control but Jones is keeping busy and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cormier tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control. Cormier wants to control but Jones is keeping busy.

Mcgowan will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Andretti up against the cage. Mcgowan is working for takedown but Andretti is calmly controlling the position for now. Andretti prevents a takedown attempt there.

Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Wagner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones slips nicely into half guard. Wagner striking from half guard on the bottom. Jones trying to control the pace. Wagner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wagner is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones is thwarting Wagner's attempts to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
