Maples is trying to break the clinch but Tropper has him pressed against the cage. Maples is working for takedown but Tropper is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Maples. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kidd is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kidd could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Diaz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kidd swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Diaz is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Kidd takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Kendle happy to just control the position for now. Kendle throwing strikes but Chavez manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Kendle struggling a bit here. Kendle on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Chavez cracks Kendle with a big elbow. Chavez looks up at the clock and then as Kendle takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Chavez smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
