#R1# Goodwin stuffs the takedown. Blacha shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Goodwin defends it nicely. Blacha will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ed Goodwin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Janke Blacha. Blacha shoots and misses and Blacha takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Blacha shoots in and drives through. Goodwin sprawls well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#CL# Goodwin instigates a clinch. Blacha tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Blacha tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Goodwin smiles and moves away.
#T1# Blacha shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Goodwin pinned against the cage. Goodwin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Goodwin throws a counter high kick but Blacha was just alert enough to avoid it. Blacha misses with a takedown attempt - Goodwin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.#CL# Goodwin clinches with his opponent.
Goodwin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Blacha has him pressed against the cage.#TD# Goodwin jumps into guard, dragging Blacha to the mat.
#SUB2# Blacha is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Blacha sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Goodwin's guard. #T2# Blacha looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. #SUB2# Blacha has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Goodwin defend it? Blacha steps over the head and cranks it - Goodwin is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Blacha!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Janke Blacha! Janke Blacha decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
