Davis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.#SUB2# Santos goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Davis rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Santos's guard! Nice work there by Davis! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Santos looking for a guillotine here but Davis defends easily.

Santos works his way to full guard. Good work.#T1# Santos is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. I was talking to Pu's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Pereira dodges an elbow strike from Pu.
Pereira tries to circle away but Pu has him pinned against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pereira blocks an elbow strike.#TD# Pu wants the takedown. Pereira is fighting it off but Pu persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Pereira's guard against the cage. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Pu throwing strikes but missing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pu slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. Silva tries to clinch up. Silva wants to clinch. Drago uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Silva. A decent looking cross lands there for Drago. Silva throws a right and a left that Drago avoids nicely. It looked like Drago was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Silva. Drago connects with a body shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Drago misses with a few strikes there.

Rome wants to get back to his feet. Rome is trying to get back to half guard. Silva tries to move into full mount but can't pass Rome's legs. Rome is trying to stand back up.
