#R1# Peace throws a leg kick that is checked#TD# and Batburn counters with a shoot takedown. Peace fights it but they end up in guard. Batburn being controlled here momentarily. Batburn has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Peace is proving hard to escape from. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Batburn trying to control the position from guard on top but Peace is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Batburn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Peace is keeping the position for now. #T1# Batburn trying to control but Peace is working from the bottom. Batburn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Peace swivels though and keeps the full guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Batburn throws a strike but Peace rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVB# Peace landing some decent shots from guard. #SUB# Batburn is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Peace defends well. Peace is in close to Batburn's body, working some short punches and elbows. Peace throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Oh Batburn is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!#ES# Batburn manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Batburn fails with the takedown. Peace stuffs the takedown. Batburn seems to have got his legs back now. Batburn fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keaten Batburn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Peace dives in and grabs Batburn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Batburn pushes down on Peace's head and hops out. Batburn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Peace tries to avoid it but Batburn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Peace to the ground. Peace escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Peace changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Batburn pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Peace back to the cage. Batburn follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#TD2# Peace throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Batburn was covering up waiting for the punch and Peace finishes the takedown easily into guard. Peace throwing strikes from guard but Batburn blocks nicely. #T3# Peace makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Peace landing with the ground and pound. Batburn utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Peace trying to control the position from guard on top but Batburn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Peace lands a couple of elbows. Peace with a nice head shot there. Batburn avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. #T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Peace's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Peace lands a couple of digs. Batburn has his hands on Peace's head, controlling the position. Batburn is looking to stand up but Peace isn't so interested in that idea. Batburn trying to control the position.
Peace postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Batburn has momentary wrist control but Peace slips an elbow through the middle. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Peace throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Peace content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Batburn throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Warran Peace dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2# A punch combination from Batburn misses. Peace fails to land the takedown. Batburn went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Peace dodges the punch combination from Batburn.
#TD# Batburn shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Peace napping and manages to drive through into side control! Peace has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Peace is trying to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peace is letting Batburn control him for a moment. Batburn tries to advance to mount but Peace denies him. #T1# Peace gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Batburn trying to control from Peace's half guard. Peace has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Peace pulls Batburn in close to his closed guard and prevents Batburn from doing any damage or advancing position. Batburn is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. #T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Batburn has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Warran Peace has got the better of the ground game so far. Peace bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Batburn's guard. #REVB# Peace trying to control but Batburn is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Peace with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Batburn tries to get out of the position. Batburn looking to control.
#REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Batburn tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Peace swivels and escapes.#TD2# Peace closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Batburn missing with punches from the bottom.
Peace working the head and body with strikes. Peace throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Peace lands a nice short elbow. Batburn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Peace on the ground.#T4# Peace lands strikes from half guard. Peace lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Batburn! More strikes land and this one is all over! Peace jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
