Nice combination. #CUT#It looks like Casper Hardin has been cut. Taamu throws a head kick that misses #TD2# and Hardin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Taamu won't be happy with that. Taamu sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Taamu regains full guard. Nicely done. Hardin wants to control from the top but Taamu keeps moving. Hardin missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hardin sitting in guard here, content to control. Taamu keeping moving, preventing Hardin from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hardin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. I was talking to Taamu's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Tua Taamu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Casper Hardin.#BC# Taamu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hardin takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hardin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A chopping leg kick lands by Taamu. Taamu throws a quick inside leg kick. Both fighters circling a little - Taamu finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A punch lands to the side of Hardin 's head but he takes it in his stride. Taamu throws a head kick that half lands.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#TD# Velasquez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nameless looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Nameless tries to buck Velasquez off but Velasquez is having none of it. Nameless on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Velasquez landing strikes. Velasquez working the ground and pound from side control. Velasquez lands some shots froms side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nameless is trying to get back to half guard. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Velasquez is chipping away with strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Velasquez looks up at the clock and then as Nameless takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Velasquez smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Nameless manages to work his way to half guard, despite Velasquez's best efforts. Velasquez seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Velasquez lands with a punch from half guard. Nameless on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Nameless slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Velasquez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Good work by Hardin as he checks the leg kick. Pyke loads up on a big right hand but Hardin slips the punch. Hardin fails miserably with a takedown attempt. #R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Langston looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Langston throws a front kick aimed at Leopoldo's knee but Leopoldo avoids it well. Langston throws a series of punches but Leopoldo moves out of range. Langston with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Langston scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Leopoldo checks a leg kick. Langston is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#TD# Leopoldo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Langston! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!#SUB# Leopoldo is working to tighten his grip on Langston's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Langston has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Leopoldo is really squeezing tight and eventually Langston passes out!
