Pai manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.#SUB2# You Man is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pai is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pai has escaped and now he's on top! #REVR##SUB2# You Man is looking to cinch up a triangle. Pai throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to You Man's body to avoid the submission. You Man has instead reached around Pai's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! You Man arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). I Love You Man! After winning the bout, I Love You Man thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Jotaro swats away the attempt to clinch by Freeman. Freeman tries to clinch but Jotaro is having none of it. Freeman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jotaro pinned against the cage. Jotaro gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jotaro went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Freeman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jotaro circles away. Jotaro is looking for a counter combo. Horrible takedown attempt by Freeman or perhaps it was just good defense by Jotaro, which made it look bad. Jotaro went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Jo Jotaro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Freeman. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Freeman dives in for a single leg takedown but Jotaro sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. We've been told by Jotaro's head coaches at Russian Bears Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Freeman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jotaro sprawls well. Jotaro wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Freeman gets slowly back to his feet. Nice jab there from Kossu. Kossu ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Gorn is breathing heavily. Kossu cracks a nice hook into Gorn's ribs. Kossu lands a jab to Gorn's midsection. Kossu comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Kalle Kossu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kossu scores with a body shot.
Gorn takes one to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kossu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Gorn takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Kossu throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Let's see what he can do from the top position. Cobb is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Karelin is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cobb is trying to keep Karelin in close.
Karelin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cobb swivels though and keeps the full guard. #T1# Cobb is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Karelin content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Karelin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Cobb is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cobb is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Karelin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Karelin is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Cobb shoots for a double leg takedown but Karelin sprawls well. He's pushed Cobb's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. #TD2# Karelin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cobb manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.#ES# Cobb is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Karelin presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. #T3##TD2# Karelin has hold of one of Cobb's legs. Cobb is fighting the takedown attempt but Karelin gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Karelin trying to control the position from guard on top but Cobb is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Karelin works over Cobb with some ground and pound from guard. Karelin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Cobb wants to get back to his feet but Karelin is in a dominant position and won't allow it. #T4# Karelin wants to control from the top but Cobb keeps moving. Cobb controls Karelin momentarily but Karelin frees himself. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Karelin stops Cobb from standing up. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Cobb tries to score a power double leg takedown but Karelin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cobb somewhat.
And that's the end of the fight! Alex Karelin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Karelin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
