Lokki looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Purjalsta scores with a couple of short elbows. Purjalsta is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lokki's shoulder. That is not cool. Lokki can't do much from the bottom here. You can see the frustration on Lokki's face as Purjalsta controls the position. Purjalsta lands an elbow. Lokki is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at JAG Battle Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Purjalsta working away. Lokki is trying to get back to half guard. Purjalsta takes a little break here. Lokki wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Purjalsta controlling from the full mount. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Purjalsta working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Purjalsta with a couple of short strikes. Lokki takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lokki is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Lokki scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Lokki scores with a one two! Purjalsta had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. An inside leg kick from Lokki misses. Purjalsta doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lokki lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Lokki fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Purjalsta looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.#CL2# Purjalsta clinches up against the cage. Purjalsta drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lokki gets the underhooks and prevents it.

This is the final round!#R3# Lokki tries to bum rush Purjalsta with a series of wild strikes but Purjalsta uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Purjalsta throws a chopping leg kick but Lokki manages to avoid taking any serious damage.#TD2# Lokki gets caught napping as Purjalsta dives in and scores a takedown. Lokki manages to retain guard. Purjalsta's corner is telling him to maintain position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Purjalsta trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Purjalsta stands up over Lokki, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Purjalsta pushes down on Lokki's leg and manages to get into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Purjalsta connects with a nice short shot to Lokki's temple. Lokki is trying to stand.

Let's hope that Purjalsta has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Purjalsta scoring with strikes to the body and head. #T4# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Purjalsta tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lokki knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Lokki is trying to control but can't.
#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Lokki throws a right and a left that both miss. Purjalsta drops his hands momentarily and Lokki takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Sorsa Lokki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lokki moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Lokki blocks a jab. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lokki digs a good body shot into Purjalsta's ribs. Lokki cracks Purjalsta with a good jab. Lokki stuffs the takedown. Purjalsta slips a jab and a cross from Lokki.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lokki closes the distance and lands a one-two.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sorsa Lokki. I think Lokki has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Beast throws a hook to the side of Requis's head but Requis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Beast looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Beast scores with a jab. Requis acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Beast throws an ugly left hook that misses

Purjalsta throws out a leg kick but DIsmantle moves out of range and Purjalsta only half commits. Nice straight punches there by DIsmantle. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of DIsmantle. DIsmantle scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Purjalsta takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Mickey DIsmantle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A lazy left from DIsmantle finds it's target. DIsmantle scores with a hook. DIsmantle cracks Purjalsta with a right hand to the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! DIsmantle wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. We've been told by DIsmantle's head coaches at Legendary MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. DIsmantle scores with a decent looking hook. Requis misses with a left hand enabling Olive to counter with a crisp jab. Requis stuffs the takedown. Olive shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Requis but Requis pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeff Olive. That's going to take a lot out of him. Requis takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Olive jabbing away but nothing is landing. Requis swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Olive shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. It seemed like Requis was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Olive swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A left and a right from Requis both land. #R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petrov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Purjalsta but Purjalsta pushes him off and we're back to square one. Petrov leaves Purjalsta with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.#TD# Purjalsta shoots in and bounces Petrov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Petrov throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Petrov striking off his back but it's not causing Purjalsta any problems. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Purjalsta stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Petrov swivels though and keeps the full guard. Purjalsta controlling from the top position. Purjalsta stopping the sweep attempt from Petrov.#T1# Purjalsta working some strikes from top position. Purjalsta is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Purjalsta preventing the sweep. Bolt lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnson circles away quickly and effectively. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Johnson.
Bolt tries a low kick but Johnson avoids it. Bolt drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Bolt throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson moves out of range easily. Bolt looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bolt on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Johnson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bolt misses with a hook

Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Oh Bolt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
