Ciccio has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Hooper is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Ciccio can't find room to land a body shot as Hooper controls the action.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hooper will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Ciccio up against the cage.
Ciccio wants to get back to striking at distance but Hooper won't allow it.

Ciccio wants to control but Hooper passes easily into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hooper looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ciccio with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #T3#

Hooper misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Hooper tries to score with some ground and pound. Ciccio controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hooper is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ciccio rolls with it to try and escape but Hooper cranks on the arm and Ciccio is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
