A punch lands to the side of Bracken 's head but he takes it in his stride. De Souza checks a leg kick. A clash of legs there as De Souza blocks the low kick. De Souza swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. De Souza cracks Bracken with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bracken tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. De Souza manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bracken with a lazy takedown attempt and De Souza counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Garcia tries to kick Sosa off but Sosa keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Garcia moves into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sosa looking to sit in guard and control but Garcia gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# Garcia is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
