McFarrel leaves Vargas with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. McFarrel gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Spank McFarrel seems to be getting the better of the standup.#CL2# McFarrel rushes Vargas and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. McFarrel jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vargas walks away with a smile on his face. McFarrel gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. McFarrel displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vargas. Vargas shoots for a double leg takedown but McFarrel sprawls well. He's pushed Vargas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! McFarrel dives in and grabs Vargas's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vargas pushes down on McFarrel's head and hops out. McFarrel shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vargas pinned against the cage. Vargas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And that's the end of the fight! Spank McFarrel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well McFarrel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Nieves shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hornfellow Iii eats them both and turns towards Nieves to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Nieves throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hornfellow Iii's waist but Hornfellow Iii gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nieves off to one side. Hornfellow Iii connects with a right hand.
