Colett lands a nice leg kick that just misses Letsgo's sensitive parts. Letsgo misses with a takedown attempt - Colett sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Colett was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Colett tries to clinch there but Letsgo circles away.

Colett leaves Letsgo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Colett closes the distance and clinches up with Letsgo, looking for a takedown. Colett pushes Letsgo against the cage but Letsgo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Colett shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Letsgo defends it nicely. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Colett. Letsgo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Colett counters with a big head kick but Letsgo shrugs it off. #TD2# Colett drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.#SUB2# Colett goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Letsgo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Colett but great work by Letsgo. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Colett managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Letsgo.

As Colett backs away, Letsgo returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Letsgo keeps the fight on the outside. Letsgo throws a big counter combination but Colett scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Letsgo goes for a double leg but Colett avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Colett continues to drive forward. Colett works on Letsgo's body with a couple of short punches. Letsgo avoiding damage as Colett throws knees to the body.
#T4##BC# Letsgo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.#TD2# Colett shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Letsgo napping and manages to drive through into side control! Letsgo bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Colett tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Letsgo paws at him with a jab and circles away. Letsgo fails to land the takedown. A nice side step and Colett releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. A nice inside leg kick there by Colett. That's going to slow Letsgo down. #CL# Letsgo instigates a clinch. Wow Letsgo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rhett Colett is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Letsgo fails to pull the fight into his guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wow Letsgo. I think Colett has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1# Dott throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McGee's waist but McGee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dott off to one side. McGee swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Dott closes this distance looking for a takedown but McGee circles away. McGee throwing a counter right hand but Dott manages to avoid it. Dott closes the distance looking to clinch and McGee counters with a one-two to the body. McGee throws a right and a left that both miss. Dott dives in for a single leg takedown but McGee sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Harold McGee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nuknuk Dott. Dott tries to clinch and McGee connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Dott shoots for a takedown but McGee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. McGee throws a big counter combination but Dott scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McGee throws a front kick aimed at Dott's knee but Dott avoids it well. Harold McGee dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.#R2# McGee tries to bum rush Dott with a series of wild strikes but Dott uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A left and a right from McGee both land. Nice combination. Dott wants to clinch.#TD# McGee gets a double leg takedown into Dott's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# McGee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dott has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McGee has managed to get both his arms back between Dott's legs - danger averted. McGee would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. McGee is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. #T1# McGee has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Smythe throws out a loose jab but Hym uses good head movement to avoid it. Simon Smythe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hym on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Hym is riding his opponent, not letting Smythe buck him off. #SUB# Hym has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Smythe! Can he survive? No! He's out! Hym gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
