Baunegaard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miocic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Miocic is pushing down on Baunegaard's leg trying to pass to half guard. Baunegaard is fighting to maintain full guard but Miocic has managed to sneak the leg through.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Matthew Zee.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Zee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The crowd cheers as Pops lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bowen doesn't seem phased though.
Bowen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pops.
Bowen misses with an uppercut. Pops saw that one coming.
Pops looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Sloppy strikes from Pops. Those never looked like landing.
Pops throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bowen on the side of the head.
Bowen walks straight into a right hand from Pops - that's dropped him! Pops jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Bowen from any more punishment! Bowen complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Uncle Pops!
A less than humble Uncle Pops misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
