#R1##TD2# Phillipart shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kadyrov napping and manages to drive through into side control! Phillipart postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Phillipart in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. #SUB2# Phillipart looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Kadyrov takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Kadyrov wants to get back to his feet. Kadyrov on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Kadyrov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kadyrov is pushing Phillipart's head away, looking to escape. Phillipart manages to hold on to the position though. Phillipart working the ground and pound. #T1# Kadyrov tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Kadyrov is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Phillipart dominating with strikes here. Phillipart is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. You get the feeling that Kadyrov really doesn't like being in this position too much.

#R1##TD2# Elbows scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Castaneda is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Elbows off and has taken his back! Castaneda is not going to allow Elbows to sit and survive in this position. Castaneda really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Elbows.#SUB# Castaneda patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Elbows tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Castaneda takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.#T1# Elbows wants to control but Castaneda is having none of it. Elbows keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Vance keeping moving, preventing Da Silva from controlling successfully. Da Silva is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Da Silva working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. That was a close second round but I would say that Hobert Vance will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And that's the end of the fight! Rafael Da Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Da Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
