#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kikuta tries to bum rush Swift with a series of wild strikes but Swift uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kikuta blocks a jab. Kikuta dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Kikuta shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Swift avoids the head kick by Kikuta.
Kikuta's corner calls for a 1-2. Kikuta obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. #KD# Kikuta lands a big head kick that sends Swift tumbling to the mat! Kikuta takes a step backwards and waves Swift back to his feet - he wants the finish!#CUT#It looks like Veo Swift has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Swift throws a sloppy head kick and Kikuta moves out of range easily. Kikuta pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A telegraphed right hand from Kikuta misses the target. It seemed like Swift was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Swift uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kikuta. Kotaro Kikuta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kikuta waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Swift. A slow jab from Kikuta misses its intended target. Kikuta lands a really nice looking cross but Swift seems unphased.
Swift tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kikuta scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Kikuta misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Swift.

Swift's coach down at Outlier Martial Arts was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Swift's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Swift wants to break free but Kikuta has control.
#BC2# Swift pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Swift slips a jab and a cross from Kikuta.
Kikuta rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Swift counters with a straight punch to the midsection.#KD2# Swift lands a left and a right that send Kikuta crashing to the mat, dazed. Swift thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC2#Kikuta is rocked!#CUT2#It looks like Kotaro Kikuta has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Swift feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Kikuta crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maximus Jr slips under a jab. Cosmo will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Cosmo throws a combination that misses and Maximus Jr counters with a lovely shot to the body. Cosmo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Cosmo scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. #CUT#It looks like Marcus Megnus Maximus Jr Maximus Jr has been cut. Cosmo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cosmo throws a big shot that misses. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Maximus Jr has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Maximus Jr rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cosmo moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Cosmo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Maximus Jr. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Maximus Jr! But no joy. Cosmo throws a jab when Maximus Jr was well out of range. Maximus Jr wants to clinch up but Cosmo keeps it at a distance. Maximus Jr keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Maximus Jr throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Cosmo's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Maximus Jr dives in looking to finish as Cosmo flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Maximus Jr's strikes! Maximus Jr is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Cosmo's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Cosmo was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Anthony scores with a nice strike. Anthony looks to land a combination but Pinales avoids it well. Anthony throws a hook but Pinales blocks it. Anthony misses with a wild body shot. Pinales drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Anthony defends it well. Pinales moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.#CUT#It looks like Javier Pinales has been cut. A jab lands there for Anthony. Anthony swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
#TD2# and Pinales counters with a nice double leg into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anthony wants to get back to his feet but Pinales is in a dominant position and won't allow it. #SUB2# Pinales is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Anthony pulls Pinales in close to his closed guard and prevents Pinales from doing any damage or advancing position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#SUB2# Pinales drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Pinales as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Anthony screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Pinales! Nice submission victory there!

Javier Pinales decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you. |

A little jabbing left from Collins on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Kururugi connects with a body shot that sends Collins's belly button to the back. A lazy left from Kururugi finds it's target. Kururugi thows a body kick. Collins tries to catch it but that hurt him. Kururugi moves into range and connects with a jab. Kururugi lands a nice leg kick that just misses Collins's sensitive parts. Kururugi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Collins manages to avoid it. Collins fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kururugi connects with a right hand. Collins shakes it off. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kururugi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kururugi wants it to stay on the feet. Kururugi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Kururugi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Collins circles away quickly and effectively. Collins looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kururugi is fending him off so far but Collins persists. Nope, Kururugi circles away and we're back to standing.#T4# Kururugi moves into range and connects with a jab. Some bone on bone action there as Kururugi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Suzaku Kururugi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kururugi throws a right and a left that Collins avoids nicely. Collins lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Kururugi lands with a kick to the ribs.

Collins has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Kururugi. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kururugi stalks Collins and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Collins's face. Collins staggers backwards, shaken.#ROC#Collins is rocked! Collins is looking to clinch. Collins is still on wobbly legs! Can Kururugi finish him? A decent looking body kick lands there for Kururugi. Kururugi lands a slapping body shot.
Kururugi stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Suzaku Kururugi dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.#R2# Kururugi throws a front kick that sends Collins stumbling back into the cage. Kururugi circles away from the clinch attempt.

The fighters circle, before Kururugi throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Collins's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Kururugi lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Suzaku Kururugi! A less than humble Suzaku Kururugi misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities. |

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saravia throws a hook but Nemera avoids it easily. Saravia lands with an uppercut that bounces Nemera off the cage and back into range. A telegraphed right hand from Saravia misses the target. Saravia takes a swing at Nemera's ribcage but misses. Saravia misses with a series of wild punches.
Saravia ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nemera moves away. Nemera misses the shot to the body. Saravia throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Nemera throws a quick counter kick to the body but Saravia avoids it. Saravia connects with a looping right hand.
Saravia takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Anthony manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Neil sitting in guard, not really doing much. Neil is looking to pass into half guard but Anthony pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Anthony is in guard.#REVB# Anthony wants to stand but Neil has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Rose wants to take the fight to the mat but Ario manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Ario is looking to take this one to the mat.#TD2# Rose turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rose in side control, throwing shots but Ario defends. Rose working the ground and pound. Rose with the ground and pound but Ario regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Rose takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Rose with the ground and pound but Ario uses the opportunity to regain guard. #T1# Rose throws an elbow that misses. Ario uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rose's guard. Jeden should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Rose avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Nemera digs a good body shot into Creature's ribs. Creature scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Nemera avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nemera darts in looking for a takedown but Creature gets double underhooks and turns Nemera into the cage. Marv Nemera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nemera tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Creature is able to avoid easily. Nemera tests Creature's chin there with a solid looking shot. Nemera goes for a double leg but Creature avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Creature continues to drive forward. Tom Creature has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marv Nemera. Nemera just misses with a punch to the body.

Aiden sizes up Ukkonen with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Aiden stuffs the takedown. Aiden missing with a left hand there. Ukkonen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Ukkonen lands a right hook to the body.

That sent Nemera stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Nemera swings for the body but Neil moves out of range.
