A countering left hand to the body from Cuvee misses.#CL2# Cuvee closes the distance and clinches. Glass is trying to push Cuvee away but Cuvee has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Glass is pressed up against the cage. Cuvee has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Glass down to the mat. Glass avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Funks Cuvee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL2# Cuvee has closed the distance and engaged Glass in a clinch.

Cuvee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Glass is fending him off so far but Cuvee persists. Nope, Glass circles away and we're back to standing. Glass feinted with a counter takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cuvee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Glass tries to avoid it but Cuvee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Glass to the ground. Glass escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Glass half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Felton Glass has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Funks Cuvee. Glass misses with a low kick. Cuvee fails in his attempt to clinch. #CL2# Cuvee gets a clinch. #T1##TD2# Cuvee decides to pull guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Glass working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Glass throws an elbow that misses. Cuvee uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Glass's guard. Nice move by Cuvee!#REVB# Glass working a defensive guard here.
Cuvee wants to get up but he can't break Glass's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Glass has momentary wrist control but Cuvee slips an elbow through the middle. Glass controlling Cuvee's posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Glass continues to stall.#T2# Glass looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Glass keeping moving, preventing Cuvee from controlling successfully. Glass looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cuvee is one step ahead there. Cuvee throwing strikes but missing. Glass is trying to keep Cuvee in close.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.#T3# Cuvee's corner is telling him to maintain position.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#TD2# Cuvee is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Glass's half guard. Well, if Cuvee is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Glass controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Cuvee lands with a punch from half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cuvee prevents Glass from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Funks Cuvee dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. #R2##TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Glass enables Cuvee to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Glass manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Cuvee wants to pass the guard but Glass is keeping the position. Cuvee trying to control the position from guard on top but Glass is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cuvee is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Cuvee looking to sit in guard and control but Glass gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# Cuvee controls Glass momentarily but Glass frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cuvee has his hands on Glass's head, controlling the position. #T1# Cuvee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. #SUB2# Glass avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Glass will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Cuvee is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVB# Glass really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cuvee prevents Glass from improving his position. Cuvee lands strikes from half guard. Glass trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

Cuvee avoids the attempt from Glass to control. Cuvee lands a heavy elbow. Cuvee wants to control the pace but Glass is squirming around nicely. Cuvee has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Cuvee with a couple of short strikes. Cuvee trying to control but he's not successful this time. Glass keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
