Castaneda seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.#TD2# Castaneda tries to sprawl but Badass drives through with a takedown into half guard. Badass with the ground and pound but Castaneda uses the opportunity to regain guard. Badass wants to control from the top but Castaneda keeps moving. Castaneda working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Badass. Castaneda manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Badass manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Caine tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rockhold defends well and Caine ends up having to push Rockhold into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Reese Rockhold has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Noreiga Caine. Caine looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. A head kick by Rockhold misses and Caine counters with a left and a right that stings Rockhold. Caine avoids the head kick by Rockhold.
