We've been told by Louis's head coaches at Crapollas Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Louis misses the shot to the body. A jab from Louis misses. Louis lands a really nice looking cross but Paruzzi seems unphased.
Paruzzi misses with a head kick.
Paruzzi looks winded! Louis scores with a decent looking hook. Paruzzi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Horrible takedown attempt by Paruzzi or perhaps it was just good defense by Louis, which made it look bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Louis lands a head shot.#ROC#Paruzzi is rocked! and Louis counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Paruzzi! He's just covering up as Louis starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

McPherson takes a step backwards and waves Braccianti back to his feet - he wants the finish!#CUT#It looks like Mauro Braccianti has been cut. Braccianti shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and McPherson counters with a big left hand that crumples Braccianti! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!

Hurme working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Paruzzi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hurme just stands there and leans against the cage. Hurme using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Hurme can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Paruzzi controls the pace. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. I was talking to Harper's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Harper is trying to drag Weeks to the mat but Weeks just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bryce Harper. That's going to take a lot out of him.#BC2# Weeks manages to break the clinch.
