Horrible takedown attempt by Glinner or perhaps it was just good defense by Zemaitis, which made it look bad. We've been hearing reports that Glinner has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Nice cross by Zemaitis. Glinner fails with an attempt to clinch.
Zemaitis throws a combination that misses #TD# and Glinner counters with a shoot takedown. Zemaitis fights it but they end up in guard. Glinner passes Zemaitis's right leg, so he's now in half guard. #SUB# Zemaitis is trying to control Glinner's posture. Glinner takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Zemaitis! Glinner is rotating here... this could be the end... Zemaitis is out! Glinner has ended this one emphatically! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fartanov is defended easily by Pal. Fartanov on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. #CL# Pal moves into range and clinches up with Fartanov. Pal pushes Fartanov back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Fartanov managing to block the knees to the body from Pal.
Pal tries to land knees in the clinch but Fartanov avoids the damage to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fartanov tries for a takedown but Pal manages to get underhooks.

Poor Pal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zhorik Fartanov. Pal scores with a hook to the body. Fartanov looks winded! PooPoo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Holly. No luck for Holly with that takedown attempt. PooPoo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Holly moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Holly is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. A jab from Holly misses. #CL2# Holly closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Holly has PooPoo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. PooPoo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Holly is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but PooPoo is defending well. PooPee PooPoo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Holly.#BC# PooPoo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Pal moves in looking to clinch but Gaga pushes him off. Pal keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.#TD# Gaga shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pal napping and manages to drive through into side control! Pal is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Gaga has just dragged him back down to the mat. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pal can do anything to dispel that myth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A lull in the action here. Pal stops Gaga from passing to mount. #T1##SUB# Gaga tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gaga has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The referee asks Gaga politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Gaga prefers to stall for the moment though.#SUB# Gaga looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. #SUB# Gaga wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pal, who protects the arm well. #T2# Gaga in side control, just content to control the action for now.
