#R1# Castle dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Castle tries to bum rush Bunt with a series of wild strikes but Bunt uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bunt avoids a punch combination nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Castle. Castle misses with an attempted mid kick.
#TD# Castle closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bunt's guard. Castle loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Castle is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. #SU# Bunt is working an open guard so Castle takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Bunt leaves Castle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. No luck with that takedown attempt from Bunt. Bunt gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.#T1##TD# Castle looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Bunt taking some punishment here, with Castle in his half guard. Castle misses with a head shot. Bunt uses the momentum to regain guard. Castle stands and throws Bunt's legs to the side, diving into side control. Castle working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. You can see the frustration on Bunt's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Castle lands a nice forearm strike. Castle creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Bunt sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Castle lands a decent elbow from side control. Castle working the head and body with strikes. Castle looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Castle throws a right and a left that both miss. Castle displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Castle looks for a takedown but Bunt sprawls well. This is the final round! #R3# Bunt shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Bunt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Castle sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bunt somewhat. Castle shoots in for a double leg but Bunt sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Castle tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bunt defends well and Castle ends up having to push Bunt into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.#CL2# Bunt moves into the clinch. Bunt tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Castle tries for a takedown. No joy.

A nice side step and Bunt releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Bunt fails with the takedown. Bunt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Castle but Castle pushes him off and we're back to square one. Castle stalks Bunt and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bunt's face. Bunt staggers backwards, shaken. Castle throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Thad Castle is winning the standup battle so far. Castle shoots in but Bunt avoids the takedown attempt easily. Castle throws a head kick that misses. #T2# Bunt shoots in for a takedown but Castle shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A slapping body kick lands there for Bunt.#CL2# Bunt drives through and clinches with Castle against the cage.

Castle pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. The fighters circle momentarily. Castle darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Castle throws a combination that misses and Bunt counters with a nice uppercut. Bunt shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Castle throwing a counter right hand but Bunt manages to avoid it.#CL2# Castle gets tackled into the cage by Bunt. Bunt maintains the clinch. Castle wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bunt jumps guard but Castle stands there with Bunt around his waist. Bunt gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Mark Bunt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Thad Castle is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bunt wants to take the fight to the mat but Castle manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Mark Bunt. I think Castle has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Peralta is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Spite keeping moving, preventing Peralta from controlling successfully. Peralta working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peralta throws a big right hand that misses. Peralta pushing down on Spite's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Peralta is keen to just control but Spite is a slippery customer. That was a close round but I would say that Nicky Spite will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. My spies in Cozad MMA New York inform me that Peralta has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Peralta looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Spite with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Peralta is trying to control the action in half guard but Spite is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Peralta connects with a nice short shot to Spite's temple. Spite is not content to let Peralta control the position. Peralta thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Spite's head. #SUB2# Peralta seems to be working for a kimura but Spite defends the submission attempt.#SUB# Spite has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Peralta. Oh but Spite has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Peralta goes limp - he's gone! Spite jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Peralta escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Peralta fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Holt avoids it really well and circles away.#CL2# Holt pushes Peralta up against the cage in a clinch. Peralta has Holt pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Holt manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Harding creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Harding gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. #TD# Harding has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. #R1# Castle slips under a jab from Arfah. An attempted straight right counter from Castle misses the target. We've been told by Castle's head coaches at Cozad MMA Las Vegas that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Castle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Arfah circles away quickly and effectively. Castle throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Arfah. Castle comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Arfah showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Castle.

Castle wants to break free but Simmons has control.
Castle wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Simmons has him pressed against the cage. A short left from Castle. #CUT2# It looks like Loyd Simmons has been cut.#BC# Simmons breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Castle lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Simmons has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Simmons and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Simmons finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Castle's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Simmons falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Peralta stops Wittles from standing up. Peralta controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Peralta lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Peralta is working Wittles over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Peralta landing some decent shots from guard.
