#R1# Stafford swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Miller thinks about the counter body kick. Stafford fails with the takedown. Stafford throws a head kick that misses #TD2# and Miller decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stafford's guard. Miller is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. #SUB# Stafford is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller tries to free his leg and advance position but Stafford is retaining full guard. Miller sitting in guard here, content to control. #T1# Miller trying to stand up but can't free himself from Stafford's guard. Miller passes Stafford's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Still in half guard, Miller seems content to control. Stafford wants to control but Miller is keeping busy.
Stafford tries to get to full guard but Miller has control of the leg. Miller trying to mount his opponent but Stafford defends it. Miller content to control rather than advance. #T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Stafford on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Ground and pound from Miller. Miller landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. #CUT2# Jean Stafford's cut is getting worse. Miller takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Stafford has hold of Miller's hands but Miller slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Miller lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Miller scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Miller is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Stafford is hurt! He's hurt bad - Miller fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Stafford from any more punishment! Congratulations to Miller! Great finish!

#R1# Cade misses with the body kick#TD# and Nieves counters with a takedown into side control. #SU# Nieves stands up and beckons Cade to his feet. #TD2# Cade scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Nieves wants to control but Cade postures up. Cade lands a few punches from side control.#SU2# Cade stands up and we're back to a striking position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A head kick misses from Cade. Nieves really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#TD2# Cade shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Nieves manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Nieves keeping moving, preventing Cade from controlling successfully. #T1# Cade cracks Nieves with a solid left hand. Cade controlling from the top position. Cade throwing strikes but missing. Nieves will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Cade looking to pass the guard. Nieves wants to get back to his feet but Cade is in a dominant position and won't allow it. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cade engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.#TD2# Cade manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nieves on his heels. He'll look to pass Nieves's guard now, I'm sure. Cade looking to pass the guard. Cade is working Nieves over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. #SU2# Cade decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. #T3##TD2# Nieves gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Cade must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#SUB# Cade sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Nieves doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Cade paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Nieves - great work!
