#R1# Bowen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Scott changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bowen tries to avoid it but Scott manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bowen to the ground. Bowen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. #CL2# Scott rushes Bowen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Bowen is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Scott is defending well.#TD2# Scott jumps into guard, dragging Bowen to the mat.
Bowen really is a fat lump. Scott throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bowen prevents Scott from getting back to his feet. #SUB2# Bowen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scott has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! Scott looks for the body kick but Bowen saw that one coming. Scott dives in for a single leg takedown but Bowen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Jamie Bowen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Scott. Scott fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bowen lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A battle for position here, against the cage. Bowen throws a punch but it's blocked by Scott. Scott blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Bowen goes for a takedown attempt but Scott pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

A close round but Chris Scott will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. #R2# Scott shoots for a double leg takedown but Bowen sprawls well. #T4# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bowen taking a breather. He's tossed Scott clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!#ES2# Scott is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Bowen off. It looks like it's working - Bowen slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Scott displaying calm under pressure there. Scott will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
