and Brown counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Rekt works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Get Rekt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rekt chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Brown can pounce on him.
Rekt tries to clinch there but Brown circles away.
Rekt avoids a lazy jab quite easily. An attempted straight right counter from Rekt misses the target. Brown tries a head kick but it misses.
It looked like Rekt wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Rekt uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Brown. Rekt looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Rekt tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Brown manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Rekt tries to clinch but fails miserably enabling Brown to counter with a crisp jab. Some wild striking there from Rekt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Najman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Rekt counter with a right hand. Right on cue, Najman cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Najman is landing with some decent strikes but Rekt is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Najman has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rekt's face.
The referee warns Rekt that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

#R1# Parker shoots in looking for a takedown. Mi tries to sprawl out of it but Parker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mi jabbing away but nothing is landing. A nice side step and Parker releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Mi misses with a jab, cross combination.

The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Sage Lll looks OK. Mi waves Sage Lll back to his feet! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mi steps in with a hook that catches Sage Lll right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Mi follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Sage Lll looks absolutely devastated.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now James is on top in guard.

Mi is in trouble now - James has advanced to mount! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Mi because James loaded up on that one. #T1# James throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
James breaks from Mi's wrist control and lands an elbow. Mi is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. James controlling the pace for now. Let's hope that James has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. James has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
