#R1# Wallace with a nice cross. Pele needs to keep his hands up - Wallace had a free shot at his head there. Pele gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Wallace fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Pele takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Wallace thuds his right hand into Pele's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Wallace scores with the left hand. Pele knows he should have avoided that one. Wallace connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Wallace bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pele's head backwards. Pele shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!#CL# Pele drives through and clinches with Wallace against the cage.

Pele is trying to drag Wallace to the mat but Wallace just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Wallace swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Shaun Wallace is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pele goes for a double leg but Wallace avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wallace continues to drive forward. Pele has Wallace pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wallace manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Wallace lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. This has been an exciting period of action! Wallace is defending well against a takedown attempt. Pele wants a takedown.

Wallace is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Pele is breathing heavily. Pele is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wallace pulls him back up using the underhooks. A nice left hand lands by Wallace.

Wallace might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Wallace scores with a decent looking hook. Wallace scores with a nice right hand.

Wallace has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far. Pele wants to clinch. Wallace throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pele on the side of the head. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wallace bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pele's head backwards. Nice body punch from Wallace. Nice uppercut lands for Wallace. That snapped Pele's head back.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pele in particular looking to stall. Pele has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Wallace is trying to escape back to his feet but Pele uses the scramble to pass into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pele lands an elbow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wallace is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Wallace tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Pele controls the action.#T1# Pele lands an elbow to the side of the head. Wallace is trying to stand back up. Wallace is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Wallace is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Wallace is trying to stand back up. Pele is landing with strikes. Wallace can't take much more of this. Wallace has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wallace wants to get back to his feet. #SUB# Wallace is squirming around looking to escape but he's just wriggling himself into more trouble. Pele sinks in the hooks and manages to tighten his grip on a rear naked choke. Wallace has no choice but to tap and Pele jumps to his feet to celebrate and slick submission win!

Pele is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Ground and pound from Pele. Pele controlling the pace. Buddha is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Buddha moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Pele controlling from the top position. Buddha manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pele manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVR# Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#SUB2# Pele is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Buddha throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Pele steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Buddha. Buddha lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Pele takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Buddha looks to score with a jab to the body but Pele is just out of range. Pele gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Buddha. Pele takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Buddha scores with a crisp jab that stopped Pele in his tracks. Buddha lands a nice hook to Pele's body. Pele takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Buddha throws a body shot but no joy. Delavine wants to get up but he can't break Burns's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Burns is controlling Delavine's posture. Burns is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Burns perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
