#R1# Habab shoots in looking for a takedown but Smoke manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Habab's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Habab fails with the takedown and Smoke counters with a nice uppercut. Smoke stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Handy Habab. That's going to take a lot out of him. Smoke keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Habab closes this distance looking for a takedown but Smoke circles away. Smoke looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Smoke scores with a nice head shot. Smoke works the jab nicely. Habab goes for a double leg but Smoke avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Smoke continues to drive forward. Handy Habab seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Habab tries for a takedown but Smoke circles away easily and Smoke counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Habab misses with a takedown and Smoke counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Habab takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Habab creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Smoke sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Habab postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Smoke holds on to Habab's head and controls the position momentarily. Smoke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Habab. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Smoke is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Habab scores with a couple of short elbows. Smoke tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Habab wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Smoke taking punishment in the form of punches.
Habab lands a nice forearm strike. #T2# Habab cracks Smoke with an elbow. That is naaassty. The ground and pound from Habab seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Smoke is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Habab looks up at the clock and then as Smoke takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Habab smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

"I don't think so" says Mcmeny as he avoids it easily. Wynn looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mcmeny is fending him off so far but Wynn persists. Nope, Mcmeny circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wynn fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edwin Wynn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mcmeny comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Mcmeny has been the more effective fighter overall so far. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mcmeny cracks Wynn with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Mandagy throws a hook but Bisping avoids it easily. Bisping is looking to counter punch. Bisping defending well as Mandagy loads up on a big left hand. Mandagy takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Bisping takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Mandagy lands with a hook. Bisping tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
And that's the end of the fight! Gery Mandagy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mandagy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Gonchi is looking to stand back up but Modaro counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Gonchi. #REVB##SUB# Modaro is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Modaro takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Modaro working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Modaro moves nicely into side control. Gonchi is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Modaro is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Modaro content just to control the position here. #T1# Modaro with shots to the head and body - Gonchi looks very uncomfortable down there. Gonchi is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Modaro lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.#SUB# Modaro with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gonchi can do anything to dispel that myth.
