It looked like Thompson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.#TD# Thompson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. McGregor wants to control but Thompson is keeping busy.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Taiho jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Taiho scoring with some ground and pound. #CUT2#It looks like Cale Suraj has been cut. Suraj is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Suraj wants to stand up but Taiho is controlling him. Taiho wants to control from the top but Suraj keeps moving. Taiho postures up in Suraj's guard and throws a big left but Suraj blocks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Suraj utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Suraj looking to hit a scissor sweep but Taiho is one step ahead there. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Taiho's corner. There ya go! There ya go! #T1# Taiho postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Taiho wants to stand but Suraj is controlling his posture from full guard. Suraj can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Taiho controls the pace. Suraj definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Taiho content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Taiho stands up over Suraj, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Suraj preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Suraj is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Taiho is controlling him. Taiho wants to control from the top but Suraj keeps moving. #SUB2# Taiho is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Suraj wants to sweep here but Taiho controlling him for the moment. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Porter wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sitter gets slowly back to his feet. Porter throws a big counter combination but Sitter scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Porter is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Nima connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Nima fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Draper throws a lazy uppercut
and Nima cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Draper tries to clinch up. Draper with a lazy takedown attempt and Nima counters with a nice uppercut. Nima blocks a head kick by Draper.
Nima punishes Draper's body with a nice straight punch. Nima scores with a jab. Draper acknowledges it with a nod of the head. This has been an exciting period of action! A jab from Nima does it's job there. Nima works Draper's body with a nice hook. Nima dips down and scores with a jab to the body.#T1# Draper fails with the takedown and Nima connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Idi Nima has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manquell Draper. Nima comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Nima wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Draper on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Nima thuds his right hand into Draper's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Draper with a poor takedown and Nima counters with a nice uppercut. Nima connects with a right hand. Draper shakes it off. Nima uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Draper has time to react. Nima cracks Draper with a good jab. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Draper misses with a lunging right hand

Nima looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Nima throws a series of strikes that have Draper backpedaling.

You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Slice. Draper takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Slice cracks Draper with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Slice connects with a jab. Slice lands a body shot.
Slice lands an overhand right. Slice scores with a crisp jab that stopped Draper in his tracks. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Draper doesn't manage to clinch there - Slice circles away.
Draper shoots in for a takedown but Slice shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Slice, as that shot connected.
Slice shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Draper eats them both and turns towards Slice to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Nice shot by Slice. Draper throws a sloppy head kick and Slice counters with a lovely straight right hand! Nice uppercut lands for Slice. That snapped Draper's head back.

Sitter throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A little jabbing left from Four on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. A telegraphed right hand from Sitter misses the target. Four swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Sitter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Four as he avoids it easily. Sitter tries to clinch there but Four circles away.

Cheetah gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Walsh doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cheetah counters with a series of strikes. Walsh will be more careful next time no doubt. Walsh throws a head kick that misses. Walsh looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cheetah goes for a double leg but Walsh avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Walsh continues to drive forward. Walsh appears to be looking for a big counter.#T4# Cheetah fails miserably with a takedown attempt.#CL# Walsh moves into the clinch successfully.
