He's persisting with it as Ross sprawls well. Ross wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Samejima gets slowly back to his feet. Samejima tries to clinch but Ross is having none of it. Ross uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Samejima.
Samejima fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ross avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabu Samejima. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Ross . Mofo wants to stand but Mallick is controlling his posture from full guard. Mallick keeping moving, preventing Mofo from controlling successfully. Mofo is fighting to break Mallick's control of his arms but Mallick is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Mallick trying to strike off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mofo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Mallick trying to keep a closed guard but Mofo is proving a slippery customer.
