He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lewis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Lewis working the ground and pound from side control. Chaster tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lewis wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. #SUB# Lewis tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lewis has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Lewis content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Lewis tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. #SUB# Lewis tries for an arm triangle. Lewis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. A lull in the action here.#T2# Chaster gets back to half guard. Lewis lands strikes from half guard. Lewis scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Lewis is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. The referee warns Chaster that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Clive Staples Lewis dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!#R2# Chaster switches off momentarily and Lewis cracks him with a monster right hand! Chaster topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Lewis dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Lewis!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#CL2# Dixon forces Dormmamu back against the cage and clinches. Dormmamu tries to throw a body punch but Dixon avoids it by throwing Dormmamu back against the cage. Dormmamu is trying to break the clinch but Dixon has him pressed against the cage. Dixon on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dixon creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Dixon lands an uppercut. Dormmamu tries to pull guard but Dixon forces him back to his feet, against the cage. A short left from Dixon. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Dixon. Dixon lands a right hand. A short right hand to the side of the head by Dormmamu. Dormmamu's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Dixon lands on the inside with an uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dixon creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. #ROC2#Dormmamu is rocked! Dixon lands on the inside with an uppercut. Oh Dormmamu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dormmamu jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dixon walks away with a smile on his face. Dormmamu gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Dixon drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Dormmamu's head, knocking him out cold! Dixon is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zarus tried to score with a low kick but Sturridge checks it. Sturridge moves into range and connects with a jab. Zarus gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sturridge. Zarus is looking to clinch but Sturridge is avoiding it.
Zarus tries for a takedown but Sturridge circles away easily#KD# and Sturridge counters with a nice right hand that sends Zarus toppling to the canvas! Zarus scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Sturridge finish him?!#ROC#Zarus is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sturridge lands a brutal uppercut that launches Zarus off his feet! Zarus tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Chaster stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Wylde is looking for the KO!#CUT#It looks like Leon Chaster has been cut. Chaster moves to clinch but Wylde breaks away and Wylde counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Chaster throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wylde counters with a straight that turns Chaster's legs to rubber! Wylde pushes forward with more strikes and Chaster goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gunnar Wylde! A relieved looking Gunnar Wylde thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. |

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vicini cracks Zarus with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.#TD2# Zarus shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Zarus showed some decent athleticism there. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Vicini wants to control but Zarus is keeping busy and won't allow it. Vicini might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Vicini is pressing down on Zarus's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.#SUB# Vicini has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Zarus doesn't defend quickly enough and Vicini has managed to lock this one up! Can Zarus escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Vicini on a fantastic submission victory.

Dormmamu no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Dormmamu can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jankins controls the pace. Jankins passes Dormmamu's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Jankins tries to pass to full mount but Dormmamu defends it. Dormmamu trying to control from the bottom.
Jankins thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dormmamu's head. Jankins trying to control the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jankins thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. #T1# Jankins missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Dormmamu has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jankins is working away from the top position though. Dormmamu is trying to stand.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hasanov dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A shot to the liver by Hasanov. Beautiful body shot. Hasanov listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Hasanov scores with a decent looking hook. A jab from Hasanov does it's job there. Hasanov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Chaster moves away from the strike by Hasanov. Hasanov lands with an uppercut that bounces Chaster off the cage and back into range.#KD# Hasanov drops Chaster with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Chaster looks back up at him and smiles so Hasanov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
#ROC#Chaster is rocked!#CUT#It looks like Leon Chaster has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chaster closes the distance looking to clinch and Hasanov counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Chaster thinking. Hasanov blocks a head kick by Chaster.

Chaster tries to clinch but fails miserably and Hasanov counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Hasanov lands a really nice looking cross but Chaster seems unphased.

He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. We've been told by Hasanov's head coaches at Average Joe’s Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Hasanov is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Hasanov throws an overhand right that lands on Chaster's shoulder, as Chaster tries to avoid the shot. Hasanov throws a shot from downtown. Chaster moves away and avoids it. Chaster tries for a takedown but Hasanov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Chaster looks winded! Hasanov scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Hasanov lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Ali Hasanov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chaster has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hasanov finds it's way round the side to connect with Chaster's head. Hasanov does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. #T2# Chaster gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Hasanov gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Body is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Body tries to clinch #TD# and Zarus counters with a takedown into side control. Body bucks up and tries to throw Zarus off but instead Zarus has got his back! Zarus slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
#SUB# Zarus working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Body is doing well to defend. Zarus seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Body is forced to tap and this one is over!

Sam attempts a counter takedown but Chaster avoids it well and moves away. Chaster stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chaster wants it to stay on the feet.#TD2# Chaster gets a takedown into half guard. Sam scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Chaster manages to mount him!

Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Chaster throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Sam is trying to escape the mount.

Okongwu lands with a right to the head. Zarus tries to break the clinch but Okongwu is controlling the position. Okongwu lands a hook to the side of the head. Zarus's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Zarus has Okongwu pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Okongwu manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Zarus jumps guard but Okongwu turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Okongwu lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Okongwu lands with a left to the head. Zarus tries to pull guard but Okongwu holds him up against the cage and eventually Zarus drops back down to his feet.

Dormmamu dives in for a single leg takedown but Tyson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Tyson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Dormmamu takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Dormmamu drops down looking for a counter takedown but Tyson sprawls and moves away. #R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Pham enables Dormmamu to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pham manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Dormmamu stands and throws Pham's legs to the side, diving into side control. Pham knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dormmamu on the ground. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Pham is trying to improve his position. Pham trying to remain calm as Dormmamu controls from the top position. Pham taking punishment in the form of punches.

Pham tries to control Dormmamu's body but Dormmamu pushes him off. Pham squirms to his side and now Dormmamu has his back! Dormmamu slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
You can see the frustration on Pham's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zarus walks into a left hand. A combination from ONeill does no damage. Zarus fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kissy ONeill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD2# Zarus shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Zarus looks winded! ONeill is looking to escape.#ES# ONeill makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! ONeill works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Zarus shoots in but no luck this time. This has been an exciting period of action! ONeill throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

#ROC#Zarus is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. ONeill cracks Zarus on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Zarus falls backwards against the cage. ONeill follows up with more strikes that drop Zarus to his knees. ONeill keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Zarus! This one is all over!

Stank tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Imendos defends well and Stank ends up having to push Imendos into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Stank tries to close the distance and clinch up but Imendos swats him away and circles back towards the center. Imendos swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Stank just misses with a punch to the body.
Stank shoots in looking for a takedown but Imendos manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stank's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Stank closes this distance looking for a takedown but Imendos circles away. Jaxorus Imendos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Koro Stank. Stank is trying hard to land a takedown here. Imendos sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Imendos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stank.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane with the inside leg kick. Chaster's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kane connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Chaster scrambles back to his feet. Kane swings for the body but Chaster moves out of range.
Kook Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kane tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Chaster works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.#CUT2#It looks like Kook Kane has been cut. Kane lands a nice shot that snaps Chaster's head back.
Nice jab there from Kane. Chaster has a takedown stuffed. Chaster shoots in but no luck this time. Kane scores with a body shot.
Chaster tries to close the distance and clinch but Kane swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kane lands with a good body shot. Chaster throws a right hand that Kane ducks under and follows up with a left that Kane also avoids with ease. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A punch combination from Kane misses. Chaster takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
