Lionheart tries to work over Smrad's front leg with a kick but Smrad checks it. Lionheart lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Smrad at a distance.
Lionheart throws a head kick that misses. Smrad steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Lionheart. Smrad gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lionheart. Lionheart throws a right hand that Smrad ducks under and follows up with a left that Smrad also avoids with ease. Lionheart misses with a wild body shot. Smrad is trying to counter with his kicks. Lionheart pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Smrad back to the cage. Lionheart follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Lionheart lands a jab to the nose. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lionheart throws a wild combination but nothing lands. #TD# Lionheart darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Smrad wants to improve his position but Lionheart is controlling well.

Smrad throws a sloppy head kick and Lionheart moves out of range easily. It looked like Lionheart wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Smrad needs to keep his hands up - Lionheart had a free shot at his head there. Lionheart fails to land with a series of punches.
Smrad looks for a takedown but Lionheart sprawls well. Lionheart is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Smrad. Donte Lionheart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#T2# Smrad dives in for a single leg takedown but Lionheart sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Lionheart tries to bum rush Smrad with a series of wild strikes but Smrad uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lionheart lands with a straight right. Smrad didn't see that one coming.#CL# Lionheart gets a clinch. #BC2# Smrad breaks from the clinch.

Smrad takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Lionheart blocks a head kick by Smrad.

Lionheart fires out a quick counter leg kick but Smrad just manages to avoid it. Lionheart connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Smrad! He's out on his feet! Lionheart rushes in and drops Smrad with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hartmann is defended easily by Podnar.#CL# Podnar clinches with his opponent.
Podnar tries to land knees in the clinch but Hartmann avoids the damage to the body. #TD2# Hartmann manages to pull guard.
Hartmann is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVB# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hartmann takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Hartmann drops an elbow to the side of Podnar's head. Hartmann working the head and body with strikes. #T1# The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hartmann connects with a nice short shot to Podnar's temple. Hartmann looks up at the clock and then as Podnar takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hartmann smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

#R1# Tang stuns Smrad with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Tang works Smrad's body with a nice hook. Tang connects with a body shot that sends Smrad's belly button to the back. Tang throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tang lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Tang definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Tang lands the left hand. Tang could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Smrad avoids the body shot from Tang.
Tang takes a swing at Smrad's ribcage but misses. #TD2# Smrad throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tang tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Smrad is in Tang's guard. Smrad looks winded! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tang wants to sweep here but Smrad controlling him for the moment. Smrad must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Tang is pulling down on Smrad's head. It's preventing any offense from Smrad, at least for the moment. #TD# Podnar throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Vader tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Podnar is in Vader's guard.#SU# Podnar gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Vader feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Podnars jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Vader scores with a punch to the head. Vader thuds his right hand into Podnar's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vader lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Podnar at a distance.

Podnar looks to throw a body kick and Vader counters with a stiff right hand. Podnar shoots in and drives through. Vader sprawls well. Podnar gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Vader gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Podnar is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
