#TD# Gracie tightens his grip and picks Donev up, before dumping him to the ground. Donev manages to land in guard. Donev utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Gracie throws a big right hand that misses. Donev is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Gracie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Donev is trying to control the position but Gracie postures up. Gracie is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Petrov! Lakis misses with the ground and pound. Petrov wants to get back to his feet but Lakis drags him back down. #R1##TD# Zanh Zu gets caught flat footed, as Donev shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Zanh Zu working a defensive guard here.
Donev passes easily into side control. Nice work. Zanh Zu struggling a bit here. Zanh Zu tries to get back to half guard but can't. Donev is trying to move to mount but Zanh Zu reverses beautifully and ends up in Donev's guard. For Money throws the left hand but Sladev avoids the punch easily. Sladev attempts a counter takedown but For Money avoids it well and moves away. Sladev definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Sladev looks for a takedown but For Money sprawls well. For Money throws out a counter right but Sladev avoids it with no problem. A head kick misses from Sladev. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. For Money swats away the attempt to clinch by Sladev. Sladev uses good head movement to avoid the hook from For Money. Sladev takes one to the chin there. Sladev with a poor takedown and Sladev takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dimi Sladev.
