Richie is looking for a sweep. Badawi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Badawi drops an elbow to the side of Richie's head.
Richie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Badawi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Badawi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Naumov sprawls well. Naumov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Badawi gets slowly back to his feet.
Badawi shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Naumov eats them both and turns towards Badawi to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.#CUT#
It looks like Alexander Naumov has been cut.
Badawi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Naumov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Badawi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
