Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Augustine Tupper (ranked 4210 p4p, 212 weight class) and Bryson Pico (ranked 3614 p4p, 194 weight class). Tupper kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Can't Stop: Red Hot Chili Peppers. Pico comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lowkey - G-Eazy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 5 losses; Augustine Tupper! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 5 losses; Bryson Pico!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.


Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious?
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Pico fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tupper to the ground. Pico is now in Tupper's guard.

Pico tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pico has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

It looks like Alexey Juravlev has been cut.
Juravlev throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Trigg misses with a lunging right hand
and Juravlev counters with a straight right hand.
Juravlev takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Juravlev darts in and clinches Trigg up against the cage.
Juravlev blocks an uppercut.
Juravlev has Trigg pushed against the cage.
Trigg tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. #BC#
Trigg breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sloppy strikes from Juravlev. Those never looked like landing.

Trigg feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Juravlev sprawling to the canvas! Juravlev rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Trigg finish him?!
This has been an exciting period of action!

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Juravlev has eaten all the pies!

Trigg pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Trigg fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Juravlev to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Juravlev looks to clinch but Trigg throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Juravlev taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Ty Trigg!
Our winner, Ty Trigg, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
