Lazebnov wants to take the fight to the mat but Striker manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Lazebnov is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. #BC2# Striker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Anton Lazebnov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lazebnov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Striker. Lazebnov fails with the takedown. Lazebnov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Striker is fending him off so far but Lazebnov persists. Nope, Striker circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anton Lazebnov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Donk. Striker catches Lazebnov right on the button with a cross. Striker bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lazebnov's head. Striker lands with a kick to the temple. Lazebnov shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" #CUT2# It looks like Anton Lazebnov has been cut. Striker circles away from the clinch attempt and Striker counters with a nice body shot. #T1# Striker with a jab. Striker works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Striker connects with a high kick. #ROC2# Lazebnov is rocked! Striker steps in with a hook that catches Lazebnov right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Striker follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Lazebnov looks absolutely devastated.

#R1# Adams on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Adams looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#TD# Adams tries to sprawl but Rogers drives through with a takedown into half guard. Adams is trying to get back to full guard. It looks like Rogers is going to stand back up.
Rogers is taking a breather. Adams says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.#SUB# Rogers is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rogers missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. #R1# Kowalski moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Armando feints and then cracks Kowalski's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kowalski down. Armando tries for a takedown but Kowalski circles away easily and Kowalski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Armando moves out of range as Kowalski throws a body kick.
Jan Kowalski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL# Armando rushes Kowalski and presses him up against the cage.#BC2# Kowalski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kowalski throws a combination that misses #TD# and Armando counters with a nice double leg into half guard. #ES2# Kowalski manages to escape and get back to his feet! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#CL# Armando clinches with his opponent.

Kowalski is positioning himself to get back to half guard. #T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. That was a close round but I would say that Luis Armando will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters!
