The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rohl throws a nice looking combination but Mcgee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rohl has a takedown stuffed. Rohl fails to land the takedown. Mcgee tries to counter with a takedown but Rohl is quick to defend against it. Rohl cracks Mcgee with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rohl ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mcgee moves away. Rohl throws a sloppy head kick and Mcgee moves out of range easily. Rohl will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Mcgee appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Jackie Mcgee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Rohl.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rohl fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mcgee to the ground. Rohl is now in Mcgee's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mcgee is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mcgee is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Mcgee throwing strikes but missing. Mcgee with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Rohl looks winded! Mcgee is working Rohl over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Rohl is rocked! Mcgee gets to his feet and stands over Rohl, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Rohl felt that one! Mcgee unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Rohl from any more punishment!

Carpenter throws a punch but it's blocked by Spencer. Spencer lands with a left to the head. Carpenter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Carpenter wants to get back to striking at distance but Spencer won't allow it.

#R1# The Third tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Norton defends well and The Third ends up having to push Norton into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. The Third fails with a takedown attempt. The Third is looking to land body kicks. The Third with a lazy takedown attempt and Norton counters with a stiff right hand. Steve Norton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruh The Third. The Third misses with a takedown and Norton counters with a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fight stays on the outside here - The Third looks like he's thinking about clinching though. The Third tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Norton swivels and escapes. Nice cross by Norton.#T1# The Third tries to clinch and Norton counters with a thumping low kick. The Third looks winded!#KD# Norton sends The Third crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Norton is motioning to the referee to let The Third up. The Third is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Norton screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Dundee seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Mamma looking to sit in guard and control but Dundee gets the butterfly guard and sweeps.
