#R1##TD2# Owts fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fury to the ground. Owts is now in Fury's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Owts preventing the sweep. Owts postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. #SUB# Fury working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Owts doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Owts manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fury wants to sweep here but Owts controlling him for the moment. Owts really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fury. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Owts wants to control from the top but Fury keeps moving. Fury wants to improve his position but instead Owts has moved into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fury tries to roll over but Owts keeps him under control.#T1# Owts tries to stand and escape but Fury is controlling the position. Fury moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.#SUB# Fury has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Owts can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Owts is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Fury might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Owts stopping the sweep attempt from Fury. Owts pushes down on Fury's leg and manages to get into half guard. Fury desperately trying to maintain half guard. Fury could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#T2# Owts prevents Fury from improving his position. Owts wants to take a breather but Fury is having none of it. Fury trying to control but Owts postures up.

Owts performing his best blanket impression for a moment. #T3##SUB2# Owts is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Fury is looking for a sweep. Owts is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are battling for position here. Fury manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# Owts avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Owts trying to control the position from guard on top but Fury is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #T4# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.#SUB# Fury is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Owts frees his head nicely. Oh but Fury has switched to an armbar! Owts is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

#R1# Outbro misses with a body kick.#CL# Torres rushes Outbro and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Nice body punch from Torres. Torres swings wildly with an uppercut but Outbro uses good head movement to avoid it. Torres lands a nice uppercut. A head punch blocked on the inside by Outbro. Outbro is looking to break free of the clinch but Torres has double underhooks. Outbro tries to break free but Torres pushes him back against the cage. Torres lands a nice uppercut. Outbro wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Outbro prevents a body shot from Torres. #T1# Outbro blocks an uppercut.
A short right from Torres on the inside. Torres lands on the inside with an uppercut. Outbro has had enough of the clinch but Torres keeps him there for the moment. Torres is leaning against Outbro and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Torres digs a right hand into Outbro's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Outbro's gas tank. Outbro looks winded! Torres lands a shoulder strike. Torres lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Torres misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Outbro let out a lung full of air as it connected.#BC# Torres's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.#T2##CL# Torres clinches. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Outbro tries to circle away but Torres has him pinned against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Torres. Torres lands a hook to the side of the head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Torres. Torres presses Outbro against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Nice body punch from Torres - that landed with a thud.

Outbro has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Torres lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Outbro. Torres scores with a shot to the side of Outbro's head. Torres lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. #T3# Torres lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Outbro to his knees! Torres keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pablo Torres! After the fight, Pablo Torres was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
