#R1##TD2# Breaker looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Breaker is figuring out what he wants to do next. Breaker wants to take a breather but Karlsson is having none of it. Karlsson pushes Breaker off looking to stand but Breaker dives back in and keeps control.
Karlsson is staying active underneath Breaker, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Breaker trying to pass the guard but Karlsson defending well. Karlsson is looking to escape. Karlsson's coaches at Heavy Metal have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Breaker is taking a breather. Karlsson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Breaker is trying to control the action in half guard but Karlsson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Blank might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
