The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frazier throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Frazier throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Frazier lands a big right hand that sends The Kind crashing to the mat! Frazier stays standing though and waves The Kind back to his feet!

It looks like Norbert The Kind has been cut.
The Kind keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Frazier.
Frazier thows a left - swing and a miss!

Frazier cracks The Kind with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Frazier has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning The Kind to stand back up!

The Kind is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Frazier throws a pinpoint strike between The Kind's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends The Kind crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Frazier scores a great knockout victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James Frazier!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fingerlicker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Vasquez replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fingerlicker blocks it well.
Fingerlicker throws a right and a left that both miss.
Vasquez changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Fingerlicker shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Vasquez is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fingerlicker trying to control the pace.
Fingerlicker prevents Vasquez from improving his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fingerlicker lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Vasquez trying to control from the bottom.
Still in half guard, Fingerlicker seems content to control.

Fingerlicker lands strikes from half guard.
Vasquez is looking for a sweep. Fingerlicker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Fingerlicker wants to take a breather but Vasquez is having none of it.

Fingerlicker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vasquez on the ground.

Fingerlicker is nestled in close to Vasquez, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Fingerlicker decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Fingerlicker takes a kick to the side of the head.

Vasquez is looking to slow Fingerlicker down with leg kicks.
Fingerlicker tries to clinch but Vasquez moves out of range.
No luck for Vasquez with that takedown attempt.
Some wild striking there from Fingerlicker.

Vasquez has Fingerlicker up against the cage in a clinch.
Fingerlicker wants a takedown but no success here.
Fingerlicker can't get the takedown.
Vasquez slowing the pace effectively.
A nice right hand lands inside from Vasquez.

Vasquez lands a nice shot to the body.
Fingerlicker is breathing heavily.

Fingerlicker has Vasquez pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Fingerlicker pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Vasquez tumbling to the mat - Fingerlicker dives into Vasquez's guard.
Vasquez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fingerlicker manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Vasquez is looking to work some ground and pound but Fingerlicker has wrist control.

Vasquez postures up in Fingerlicker's guard and throws a big left but Fingerlicker blocks it.
Fingerlicker is trying to keep Vasquez in close.
Fingerlicker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vasquez is controlling him.
Vasquez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fingerlicker works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Vasquez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bobby Fingerlicker will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Vasquez drives through and clinches with Fingerlicker against the cage.

Vasquez gets control of Fingerlicker's arms and successfully pulls guard. Vasquez will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Vasquez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Vasquez looking for a sweep. Not yet Vasquez, not yet.
Fingerlicker is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Vasquez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fingerlicker stops Vasquez from standing up.
Fingerlicker controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Vasquez looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Vasquez is on top in guard.

Vasquez wants to control from the top but Fingerlicker keeps moving.
Vasquez postures up in Fingerlicker's guard and throws a big left but Fingerlicker blocks it.

Fingerlicker lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Fingerlicker is working an open guard so Vasquez takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Fingerlicker misses with a series of wild punches.
A nice inside leg kick there by Vasquez. That's going to slow Fingerlicker down.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fingerlicker. Vasquez does a little dance to reset his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fingerlicker takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Vasquez closes the distance and clinches.

Vasquez pulls guard.
Vasquez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fingerlicker is one step ahead there.

Fingerlicker avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Vasquez wants to stand up but Fingerlicker is controlling him.

Fingerlicker gets to his feet. Vasquez looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

It looks like Bobby Fingerlicker has been cut.
Fingerlicker misses with a hook. Vasquez ducked under it nicely.

Vasquez clinches.
Fingerlicker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vasquez walks away with a smile on his face. Fingerlicker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Fingerlicker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vasquez sprawls well. Vasquez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fingerlicker gets slowly back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Vasquez stalks Fingerlicker and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Fingerlicker's face. Fingerlicker staggers backwards, shaken.
Eladio Vasquez seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vasquez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fingerlicker appears to be looking for a big counter.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Vasquez. Fingerlicker shrugs it off though.
Vasquez dives in and grabs Fingerlicker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fingerlicker pushes down on Vasquez's head and hops out.
Vasquez has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Vasquez looks to land a combination. Fingerlicker sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vasquez lands a nice leg kick that just misses Fingerlicker's sensitive parts.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Vasquez scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Vasquez shoots in and drives through. Fingerlicker sprawls well.

Fingerlicker gets tackled into the cage by Vasquez. Vasquez maintains the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eladio Vasquez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Fingerlicker throws a right hand that Vasquez ducks under and follows up with a left that Vasquez also avoids with ease.

and Vasquez counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Fingerlicker shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Vasquez's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fingerlicker steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Vasquez. That one must have hurt.
Vasquez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fingerlicker paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Vasquez closes the distance and clinches.
Vasquez has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fingerlicker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Vasquez fails to pull guard.
Bobby Fingerlicker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eladio Vasquez.
Vasquez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fingerlicker smiles and moves away.
A head kick from Vasquez lands but Fingerlicker takes it in his stride.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Fingerlicker doesn't manage to clinch there - Vasquez circles away.

Vasquez clinches with his opponent.

Vasquez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

And that's the end of the fight!
Eladio Vasquez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Vasquez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
