Nice takedown defense from Kevin. No joy for Kadyrov on that attempt.
Kevin wants to counter with a clinch but Kadyrov pushes him away.
Kadyrov shoots for a double leg takedown but Kevin sprawls well. He's pushed Kadyrov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kevin has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Kevin is squeezing on Kadyrov like an anaconda would it's prey. Kadyrov fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Hines as Kadyrov shoots in.
Hines lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Hines displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kadyrov.
Hines moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Hines drops Kadyrov with a left and a right! Oh, Kadyrov is hurt - Hines dives into side control looking to finish!

It looks like Salimat Kadyrov has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hines is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kadyrov knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kadyrov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kevin tries to avoid it but Kadyrov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kevin to the ground. Kevin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kevin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kevin wants it to stay on the feet.
Kevin wants to counter with a clinch but Kadyrov pushes him away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kadyrov.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ulafson enables Kadyrov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ulafson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Ulafson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

and Garcia counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
