Loria lands an elbow just above Bozinovic 's eye.
Loria lands an elbow that stopped Bozinovic in his tracks for a moment.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spankings shoots in looking for a takedown. Adebayo tries to sprawl out of it but Spankings keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Adebayo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Adebayo lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Adebayo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Spankings, pushing him back against the cage.
Spankings drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Spankings wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lotsa Spankings. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Adebayo stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Adebayo has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Spankings is trying to keep an underhook but Adebayo manages to get the takedown into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Adebayo is trying to improve position by moving to mount. Spankings has hold of his neck though and manages to move into guard! All of a sudden, Adebayo is in a lot of trouble! Spankings is straining to finish and he's done it! Adebayo taps out! Amazing!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steiner tries to sprawl but Hernandez drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Steiner is not content to let Hernandez control the position.
Steiner preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Steiner moves into full guard.
Hernandez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Steiner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Steiner pulls Hernandez in close to his closed guard and prevents Hernandez from doing any damage or advancing position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Steiner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hernandez has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Steiner to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hernandez is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Steiner pulls down on the head and he's put Hernandez to sleep! This one is all over!

McDermott lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shelby circles away quickly and effectively.
Shelby lands the left hand.
Shelby cracks the inside of McDermott's front leg.
McDermott falls off balance throwing a combination
and Shelby moves into the clinch.
McDermott has Shelby pushed against the cage.
Shelby breaks from the clinch.
McDermott throws a series of punches but Shelby avoids them all with ease.
Shelby thinks about countering with a body kick.
Shelby drives through with a takedown into McDermott's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
McDermott keeping moving, preventing Shelby from controlling successfully.

Shelby wants to stand and escape but instead McDermott has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

McDermott lands a nice shot that snaps Shelby's head back.
Shelby tries to clinch but McDermott is having none of it.
McDermott ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shelby moves away.
Shelby looks for a takedown but McDermott sprawls well.

McDermott lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Shelby or not.
McDermott lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Shelby lands a damaging elbow.
McDermott jumps guard but Shelby stands there with McDermott around his waist. McDermott gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
McDermott pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

We've been informed that McDermott has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Well McDermott has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
