The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Galeck misses with a jab, cross combination.
White gets caught flat footed, as Galeck shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Galeck engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. White not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Galeck stands up from White's guard - Galeck perhaps looking for a knockout. Galeck throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around White's waist but White gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Galeck off to one side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Galeck shoots in and bounces White off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Galeck trying to control but White is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Galeck sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed White's guard.
Galeck decides to return to a standing position. Galeck takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Galeck shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. White is looking for the big counter here. White delivers a nice body kick. Galeck has a takedown stuffed. White wants to counter the offense by Galeck and move into the clinch position. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thor Galeck. That's going to take a lot out of him. White will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Galeck misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Galeck fails to land with a series of punches.
Galeck is breathing heavily. White displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Galeck. White lands a head kick!
A head kick from White lands but Galeck takes it in his stride.
White clinches up against the cage.

White escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Galeck manages to get an easy takedown there - catching White on his heels. He'll look to pass White's guard now, I'm sure. Galeck stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. White swivels though and keeps the full guard. White lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
White is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. White passes Galeck's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

White maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Galeck could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but White has cracked it and Galeck is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by White!
