The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malone changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Jee moves into the clinch successfully.
Jee tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Malone tries to break free but Jee pushes him back against the cage.

Jee ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jee no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Jee is trying to keep Malone in close.
Malone engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Malone is one step ahead there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jee keeping moving, preventing Malone from controlling successfully.
Jee tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Malone decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Jee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jee throws a fast counter high kick but Malone manages to duck under it in time.
Malone tries to clinch there but Jee circles away.
Jee throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Malone is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Jee.

Jee closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Malone trying to stall but Jee improves his position.
A right hook to the body lands for Jee.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Malone has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jee uses from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Malone tries to strike from the bottom.

Malone wants to get back to his feet but Jee is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Jee working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Jee in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Malone wants to stand and escape but Jee is having none of it.

Jee avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Jee keeps the fight on the outside.
Jee throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Malone wants to land a leg kick but Jee is out of range.
Jee shoots in for a takedown but Malone shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Malone leaves Jee with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ridwan Malone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guy Jee.

Jee clinches.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Jee manages to break the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Malone.
Jee looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Jee clinches up with Malone and pushes him back against the cage.

Jee breaks from the clinch.
Malone tries to close the distance and clinch but Jee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Malone shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jee defends it nicely.
Jee tries to counter by closing the distance.
Malone fails with a takedown attempt.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Malone looks for a takedown but Jee sprawls well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Jee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Malone tries to clinch up but Jee circles away and keeps his distance.

Jee tries to keep at a distance but Malone has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jee content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Jee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Malone slaps away a takedown attempt from Jee, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Malone half committed to a counter leg kick.

Jee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Malone defends it nicely.

Jee fails with a takedown attempt.
Ridwan Malone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guy Jee.
Jee drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Malone drops down looking for a counter takedown but Jee sprawls and moves away.
Jee shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Malone gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Jee breaks the clinch.
Malone lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Malone tries to clinch up.

Jee rushes Malone and presses him up against the cage.
Jee has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Malone is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Jee is trying to pull guard but Malone has him pressed against the cage.
Jee lands with a short shot to the head.
Jee has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Malone avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Malone decides to pull guard.
Malone doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Jee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Malone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Malone is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Malone is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jee doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Malone.
Malone is taking a breather. Jee says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Malone will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jee is doing well to control the position and prevent Malone from advancing to side control.
Malone missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Jee looking for subs from the bottom but Malone mounts him!
Malone controlling the pace for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jee blocking the ground and pound.
Malone tries to control but Jee wriggling away.
Malone looking to control and managing it successfully.
Jee is working to get back to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jee tries to hold on but Malone pushes him away.
Malone wants to control the pace but Jee is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Malone tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Malone somewhat.

Jee has Malone pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Malone manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Jee fails to pull guard.
Malone tries to pull guard but Jee won't allow it.
Jee jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Malone walks away with a smile on his face. Jee gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Jee closes the distance and clinches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jee gets underhooks to prevent Malone's takedown attempt.

Jee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jee misses with a head kick.

Jee has Malone up against the cage in a clinch.
Malone is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jee pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Jee breaks the clinch.
Malone stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Malone wants it to stay on the feet.
Guy Jee seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Jee falls off balance throwing a combination
and Malone counters with a right hand to the body.
Jee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Jee forces Malone back against the cage and clinches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Malone tries to break the clinch but Jee is controlling the position.

Jee jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Malone walks away with a smile on his face. Jee gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Malone wants to clinch.
Jee darts in looking for a takedown but Malone gets double underhooks and turns Jee into the cage.
Malone is looking to clinch.
Jee misses with a series of wild punches.
Malone looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jee is fending him off so far but Malone persists. Nope, Jee circles away and we're back to standing.

Jee fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Malone, pushing him back against the cage.
Jee tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Malone just stands there and leans against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nice body punch from Jee - that landed with a thud.
Jee letting Malone take a breather here.
Malone tries to pull guard but Jee holds him up against the cage and eventually Malone drops back down to his feet.
Malone tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jee just stands there and leans against the cage.

Jee has Malone pushed against the cage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Jee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jee fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

And that's the end of the fight!
Guy Jee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Jee has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
