#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emele shoots in looking for a takedown but Turner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Emele's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Emele walks into a straight right hand from Turner. Turner throws a right and a left that Emele avoids nicely. Turner's coach down at Prosper Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Turner's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. A big right from Turner misses. Turner takes a swing at Emele's ribcage but misses. Turner misses with a jab, cross combination.
Emele attempts a counter takedown but Turner avoids it well and moves away. Emele avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jesse Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No joy there for Turner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Emele is looking to counter punch. Turner comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Emele really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#T1# A left and a right from Turner both land. Nice combination. Turner misses with a wild body shot. Emele appears to be looking for a big counter. A looping hook to the body misses from Turner. Emele does a little dance to reset his feet.#TD# Emele feints and as Turner raises his hands in defense, Emele changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Turner wants to stand up but Emele is controlling him. #SUB# Emele drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Emele seems to have locked his on tight now - Turner screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Emele, as he picks up the win!

Lem leaves his chin hanging out and Starr seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Lem crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#TD2# Oh shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Emele manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Oh wants to control from the top but Emele keeps moving. Oh might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Emele haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Oh trying to stand up but can't free himself from Emele's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Emele tries to land a sweep but no joy. #T1##SUB# Emele working for a triangle but Oh defends it easily.
#SUB# Emele looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Oh got a little sloppy there for a moment and Emele has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Oh has managed to get both his arms back between Emele's legs - danger averted. Oh landing some decent shots from guard. #T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.#SUB# Emele throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Oh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Emele swivels though and keeps the full guard. Oh looking to sit in guard and control but Emele gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# Oh not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Lover throws a combination that misses and Alebardos counters with a solid body kick. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Alebardos has eaten all the pies! Lover shoots in and drives through. Alebardos sprawls well. Alebardos scores with a head kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lover. Alebardos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lover throws a leg kick but Alebardos moved away. A countering left hand to the body from Alebardos misses.#TD2# Alebardos drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.#SU2# Alebardos decides to take the fight back to the feet. #CL2# Alebardos has taken the fight to the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lover is defending well against a takedown attempt. Lover wants to take the fight to the mat but Alebardos manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Latin Lover. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD# Lover turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! A low kick from Guthrie misses #TD2# and Emele counters with a nice double leg into side control. Guthrie won't be happy with that. #SUB2# Emele tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Guthrie pushes Emele away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Emele gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
