Barnes fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Galves looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Galves throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Galves tries to clinch there but Barnes circles away.
Galves tries for a takedown but Barnes circles away easily
and Barnes counters with a one-two to the body.
Barnes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Galves was well out of range. Poor timing from Barnes.
Barnes throws a shot to the body.
Galves throws a poor cross that misses
and Barnes counters with a nice body shot.
Galves tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Galves tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Barnes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Barnes stuffs the takedown attempt from Galves. Galves gets slowly back to his feet.
Barnes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Galves circles away quickly and effectively.

A nice side step and Barnes releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

We've been hearing good reports from Rtyaer's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
