We've been told by Nascimento's head coaches at Brazilian Top Team + Ricardo Arona that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. #R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tsabalala throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Greenwald. Greenwald fakes the leg kick and cracks Tsabalala in the body. Tsabalala takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Tsabalala is breathing heavily. Greenwald looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Greenwald throws a quick inside leg kick. Greenwald connects with a body shot that sends Tsabalala's belly button to the back. Greenwald chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Greenwald lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Greenwald lands with a kick to the temple. Tsabalala shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Greenwald scoring well with a low kick there.
Tsabalala doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Tsabalala stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Greenwald. Tsabalala gets cracked there but stands up to it.

A jab from Hric misses. Kusunoki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hric moves out of range and avoids them all easily. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. #ES# Hric manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Kusunoki keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Both guys are working to get underhooks. A frustrated look appears on Hric's face as he tries to break the clinch. Kusunoki's coach down at Advanced Fitness Inc. was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kusunoki's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.#BC2# Kusunoki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. #T1# Hric wants to stand and escape but Kusunoki is having none of it. Hric utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Hric keeping moving, preventing Kusunoki from controlling successfully. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Hric misses with a few strikes there.

Krakowski could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#TD# Krakowski ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Krakowski no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Reddick looking to pass the guard. #SUB# Reddick sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Krakowski doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Reddick paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Krakowski - great work!
