The crowd cheers as Igwe lands an impressive looking overhand right. Drake doesn't seem phased though. A jab lands there for Igwe.#CL2# Igwe fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Drake, pushing him back against the cage. Drake misses with the head strike.
Igwe tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Drake just stands there and leans against the cage. Drake throws a head punch that misses. Drake misses with a short punch on the inside. Igwe tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Igwe is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Drake to keep the fight standing. Dezmond Drake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Okon Igwe. Drake misses with a punch to the body.

Kersikov lunges at James with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by James's hand. James fails with a takedown attempt. Kersikov throws out a counter right but James avoids it with no problem. Kersikov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from James. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ike James. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice cross by Kersikov. James tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kersikov defends well and James ends up having to push Kersikov into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. And Kersikov tries to counter it with a takedown but James pushes his down on his head and steps out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kersikov. Kersikov will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning James up against the cage. James tries to pull guard but Kersikov holds him up against the cage and eventually James drops back down to his feet.

Queen will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. James sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard.
