#R1# McAlvoy has a takedown stuffed. Shadow lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.#CL# McAlvoy rushes Shadow and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Shadow is trying to break free. McAlvoy tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Shadow just stands there and leans against the cage. McAlvoy doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
McAlvoy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McAlvoy is looking to break free of the clinch but Shadow has double underhooks. McAlvoy with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Shadow wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

McAlvoy is pulling down on Shadow's head. It's preventing any offense from Shadow, at least for the moment. Shadow tries to stand but McAlvoy is controlling from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# McAlvoy is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Shadow rolls with it to try and escape but McAlvoy cranks on the arm and Shadow is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
