He's obviously looking to slow James down. #TD2# Ryzhkin shoots in and bounces James off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Ryzhkin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. James knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ryzhkin on the ground.#SUB2# Ryzhkin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Ryzhkin with a flurry of punches that miss. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryzhkin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Ryzhkin passes James's left leg - he's now in half guard. #T1# Ryzhkin with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. James blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ryzhkin. #R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quarus moves in looking to clinch but Bichette pushes him off. Quarus closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bichette circles away. Bichette lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Quarus turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Nice takedown defense from Bichette. No joy for Quarus on that attempt. Bichette throws a series of punches but Quarus moves out of range. Quarus shoots for a double leg takedown but Bichette sprawls well. He's pushed Quarus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bichette is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonas Quarus. That's going to take a lot out of him. A jab lands there for Bichette. Quarus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bichette but Bichette pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bichette misses with a looping right. Horrible takedown attempt by Quarus or perhaps it was just good defense by Bichette, which made it look bad. Quarus takes one to the chin there.#T1# Quarus tries to clinch and Bichette counters with a right hand from hell and Quarus is out cold! A vicious knockout!

Nope, Xiaoyu circles away and we're back to standing. Xiaoyu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Xiaoyu misses with a head kick.
#TD# Sukkasem closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Xiaoyu did well to prevent Sukkasem getting side control. Xiaoyu regains full guard. Nicely done. Xiaoyu should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
